The Firefly Shop wasn't created because the world needed more stationery.
It began because God opened a door I never expected, and what started as a simple love for beautiful, everyday things became an opportunity to create something with a greater purpose.
I've always loved finding little treasures that make ordinary moments feel special—a favorite pen, a perfectly matched notebook, beautiful paper clips, and thoughtful details that somehow make the day feel lighter.
One day, I realized that while these treasures existed, they were scattered everywhere.
What if someone gathered them together?
What if opening one package felt like receiving a thoughtful gift from a friend?
As I began dreaming about what that could look like, God began opening doors and making a way for The Firefly Shop to come to life. What I first saw as a creative idea, I came to recognize as an opportunity He had placed before me.
And I wanted to use it for His glory.
That's where the firefly comes in.
A firefly is such a small part of God's creation, yet even its tiny light can shine beautifully against the darkness. My hope is that The Firefly Shop can be a little like that—a small light reflecting His goodness through kindness, generosity, thoughtful details, and the care poured into every order.
Every collection is personally curated so you can spend less time searching and more time enjoying beautiful things that simply belong together.
But more than beautiful stationery, I hope you find a little joy here. A thoughtful gift. An unexpected encouragement. A reminder that even the smallest things can make someone's day brighter.
The Firefly Shop is a gift God has given me, and my prayer is that I use it faithfully to share His light with others.

Hi, I’m Maria! I’m a wife, mom of two, and founder of The Firefly Shop. I’m blessed with a supportive husband and family who have encouraged me to pursue the opportunities God has placed before me.
My faith and family are at the heart of who I am. I strive to find joy in God in every season of life, knowing that true and lasting peace comes from Him. I love spending quality time with my family, making memories together, and enjoying the everyday moments that make life special.
I also love being involved in our close-knit community. You might find me leading a Girl Scout troop, volunteering with the PTO, coaching softball, or serving as the NextGen Director for Community Bible Study.
I've always enjoyed organizing, creating, and finding beauty in everyday things. The Firefly Shop has brought so many of those interests together, and I'm grateful for this opportunity to share something I love while using it to glorify God.
